Legislation by the Federal government provides for a credit of up to $64,000 for doctors that implement a document management system

Doctors should be sure to purchase a system that is certified.  Failure to do means that the Doctor won’t get a credit.

A hurdle many doctors face is the process of scanning all the old and current patient files to make them images and useable by the new software.

Doctors will find a variety of companies that provide both the imaging, software and expertise to implement these new systems.
